LESSONS AT PROGRESS MUSIC ACADEMY...
Our aim at Progress is to provide the highest level of professional tuition across a broad range of Musical Instruments, Interests and techniques. All lessons are conducted in one of our purpose built private studios on a 1-2-1 basis.
All lessons will follow our structured syllabus which is an amalgamation of all the different official grading systems (Rockschool, RGT,LCM, Trinity, Guildhall) and if you require, exams can be taken to achieve grades in the normal way. Your progress will be constantly monitored by your tutor and Progress Music Academy and will be adjusted and tweaked along the way to tailor you with the most appropriate learning pattern.
All equipment will be provided by Progress Music Academy, although Guitarists are usually expected to bring their own Guitar. We can provide a Guitar for you with prior notice.
Grade books will be available for all Progress members.
Large discounts are offered to students who wish to purchase lessons in batches of 4, 7, 10 or more.

VOCAL LESSONS
Improve your confidence, improve and understand your voice.
Both the 'SLS' and performance techniques are covered here at Progress. Vocal lessons will help you with breathing, posture, confidence, projection, performance, understanding your range and frequencies and working to your strengths. There's also a physical aspect too which involves help with with stretching tensing, and relaxation of essential muscles.
Speech Level Singing or 'SLS' is a way of using your voice that allows you to sing freely and clearly with maximum power and clarity. Since you are not learning what to sing but rather how to sing and maintain an even balance through your bridges, you can apply this technique to any type of music.
